Privacy statement
Updated 3 October 2026
In short: this website uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. We only receive your details when you send us a message yourself, and we only use them to reply.
Who we are
Thinkaholic is responsible for the processing of personal data through this website. You can reach us here:

What this website doesn’t do
We don’t set cookies and don’t use analytics, ad networks or social media plugins. Fonts and images come from our own server, so your browser talks to no one but us.
The opening animation remembers in your browser (sessionStorage) that you’ve already seen it, so it doesn’t play again on every page. That’s a single value without personal data, and your browser clears it as soon as you close the tab.
Only the client portal, where clients log in, uses functional cookies to keep you logged in.
The contact form
When you fill in the form, we receive:
- your name and email address;
- what you want to make, how far along you are and when you’d like to start;
- if you fill them in: your organisation, your phone number and how you found us.
We use these details to read your message, reply and prepare a possible collaboration. We do so based on your consent, which you give with the tick box below the form, and because it’s needed to agree on a project with you. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
The form doesn’t store anything in a database: your message reaches us as an email. The same applies if you email us directly.
How long we keep your details
For as long as we need to handle your question. If your message doesn’t lead to a collaboration, we delete it no later than two years after our last contact. If we do work together, we keep what we need for the project and for the legal retention period of our accounts (seven years).
Security and abuse
The whole website runs over an encrypted connection (https). To limit spam, the form keeps a hashed version of your IP address for no longer than an hour, so no more than five messages an hour can come from the same address. Our hosting provider also keeps technical logs (such as IP address, time and requested page) to keep the website secure and available. We do this based on our legitimate interest in a secure website.
Who we share data with
We don’t sell anything and only share your details with the parties we need to run this website:
- Hostinger hosts the website and sends the messages from the form, on servers within the EU.
- Google runs our email (Google Workspace). Google may also process data outside the EU; this is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Agreements on the protection of your data are in place with both.
Our apps and other websites
This statement covers thinkaholic.nl. Apps and websites we’ve built, for ourselves or for others, have their own privacy policy, such as the one for Borrowed.
Your rights
You can always ask which details we hold about you, and have them corrected, transferred or deleted. You can also object to their use or withdraw your consent. Email us at contact@thinkaholic.nl and we’ll respond within a month.
If we can’t resolve it together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If anything changes in how we handle data, we’ll update this statement. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
